This exciting mixture shows the diversity using beetroot as an example. Some are round, others elongated or flat, some have red flesh, others yellow, white or striped. Beetroot can bring colour to the plate both raw and cooked. Specifically, the following varieties are included: Egyptian Plattrunde (dark red), Chioggia (red-white), Formanova (red, long-cylindrical), Golden (orange) and Vereduna Alba (white variety).
